Who doesn’t like chocolate ice-cream? I love the stuff, but being an allergy mum now can’t have any, nor can my allergy child, but that isn’t going to stop me! Seeing as everything in his diet is pretty much coconut based anyway I knew it was a good place to start.
This is probably the easiest recipe on here its only three ingredients and makes for gorgeously smooth Ice cream
You can use an ice-cream makers, I have, I use a type where the bowl stays in your freezer and then you just take it out whenever the desire to make ice-cream comes over you. Its also great for making frozen yoghurt.
If you don’t have an ice-cream maker you can manually churn it in the freezer, It does take longer this way but definitely still worth the effort.
Ingredients:
400ml Coconut cream
1/2 coco powder
1/4 icing sugar
Recipe:
- Empty the coconut milk into a saucepan over a low heat until the milk and cream have combined.
- Sieve the coco powder and icing sugar into the sauce pan and mix slowly until dissolved and smooth.
- Tip the mixture into an ice-cream maker and churn until set, roughly 30minutes.
alternatively pour into a tuperware box, place in your freezer and mix with a fork every half an hour until set.check out my youtube video here
